Founder/President
Karen M. Curley
Karen Curley is the founder and president of The Hamblin Group, Inc. She has been in the Executive Search and Professional Placement business since 1987. Ms. Curley incorporated The Hamblin Group in 1989 with the objective of building long term C suite relationships with high growth technology companies. Her consultative approach and skill in seeing beyond the job spec has driven The Hamblin Group to become the search firm of choice by many of the top start-up companies in North America. The results speak for themselves.
Ms. Curley and her team of search consultants share an in-depth knowledge of the technology marketplace that has resulted in years of repeat business: a testimony to complete client satisfaction. Karen is a graduate of Merrimack College and enjoys time with her family on the waters around Cape Cod.
Managing Director
Maureen Dawson
Maureen is the managing director at The Hamblin Group, Inc. and a graduate of Boston College. After a couple years in software sales and customer service at an early stage consulting firm, she began her career at The Hamblin Group recruiting and placing technology sales and marketing professionals. She truly enjoys the coaching aspect of working with candidates early on in their professional careers. Maureen thinks the best part of her job is seeing someone whom she placed early on, ultimately become a hiring manager, for whom she recruits.
Maureen currently resides in Rhode Island and loves spending time with her two children, Rory and Callie.
